Cell function illustration. Not Ai generated... why?
An image was needed to help visualise this Cambridge bio-tech single-cell functional analysis platform. The illustration was created using photo-montage and retouching techniques utilising low cost stock imagery to accurately represent their process. Q: Why not just use Ai? A: Creating the image by a fairly simple montage process in Photoshop allows complete control over every aspect of colour, composition and content and the result was a totally editable photoshop file. This is so often overlooked but is really helpful when the imagery inevitably needs to be used to produce real-world production assets and not just imagery for socials. The image was used for large scale print as well as the usual digital use. Approaching the image generation with an eye on production saves time and money in the long run.
